Copper Intelligence Acquires Kitungu Project in DRC Copper Belt
Copper Intelligence has acquired the Kitungu Exploration Licence PR-15880 in the DRC, covering 764.55 hectares. This acquisition is significant due to the project's proximity to established mining operations and initial encouraging drill results indicating substantial copper resources.

Copper Intelligence has acquired the Kitungu Exploration Licence PR-15880 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, covering 764.55 hectares. Located 73 kilometers from Lubumbashi, the project is near other operating mines, including the Kinsvere project, which has an estimated 30 million tonnes of copper.
Historical data suggests 18.2 million tonnes of mineralized ore at 1.74% copper, with a recent reinterpretation indicating a potential resource of approximately 27 million tonnes at 1.54% copper. The technical team has identified economic potential using advanced modeling techniques. This acquisition may increase CI's resource base significantly, highlighting both exploration opportunities and associated operational risks.
