COR Rio Upgrades Data Center with Huawei Technology via EPSE Energia and WDC Networks
The Centro de Operações Rio has modernized its critical data center infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 operational continuity. This upgrade, involving high-precision equipment and energy solutions, enhances reliability and stability for urban management in Rio de Janeiro.

The Centro de Operações Rio (COR Rio) has completed a significant upgrade of its data center, utilizing Huawei technology to ensure continuous operation. Key components include two 400 kW uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), nine precision air conditioning systems (35 kW and 60 kW), and a generator plant totaling 1.9 MVA.
The project, executed by EPSE Energia and WDC Networks, aims to support approximately 50 public agencies, enhancing urban mobility and climate response. Operational since September 2025, the modernized infrastructure provides critical services, reflecting the growing need for reliable urban management solutions. This advancement underscores the importance of innovative technologies in improving city operations and public service delivery.
