Coralia Joins Data Centres Australia to Promote Sustainable Data Centre Development
Noviqtech subsidiary Coralia has become an affiliate member of Data Centres Australia (DCA), aiming to enhance sustainable data centre construction and carbon removal initiatives. DCA's mission is to establish Australia as a global hub for AI infrastructure and sustainable data centre development. Coralia plans to leverage its biochar carbon dioxide removal platform to reduce embodied carbon in cement and concrete used in data centres. The company also appointed TFA Project Group for the Great Barrier Reef Biochar Project, targeting the conversion of 2 million tonnes of biomass into biochar.

Coralia aims to partner in sustainable construction and carbon removal, utilizing its biochar platform to lower emissions in cement production. The company has engaged TFA Project Group for the Great Barrier Reef Biochar Project, which plans to convert 2 million tonnes of biomass into biochar, sequestering approximately 550,000 tonnes of CO2. This initiative supports the reduction of embodied carbon in concrete used in data centres.
