CoreSite has purchased three tech buildings in Santa Clara for $100 million, previously acquired by GI Partners for $79 million. The properties include a site proposed for a 244,100 square foot data center at 2805 Bowers Ave, which received city approval in 2024.

CoreSite, through an affiliate, has acquired three tech buildings in Santa Clara for $100 million from GI Partners, which previously purchased them for $79 million in 2021. The properties, located at 2805 and 2855 Bowers Ave., and 2710 Walsh Ave., indicate a 26.6% increase in value.
The building at 2805 Bowers Ave. is slated for a proposed data center development of 244,100 square feet, which was approved by Santa Clara officials in 2024. This acquisition highlights ongoing interest in data center developments despite a challenging Bay Area office market.
