CORNEX, EVE Energy, and Ronbay Technology Expand Energy Storage Capacities
CORNEX, EVE Energy, and Ronbay Technology are advancing significant energy storage projects. These developments reflect a broader trend in the lithium battery sector, aimed at increasing production capabilities and meeting growing energy demands.

CORNEX has fully topped out Phase II of its Yichang Lithium Battery Industrial Park, part of a 60 billion yuan investment project targeting a total capacity of 150GWh. Scheduled to be operational by September 26, 2026, this phase will enhance production of fast-charging and large energy storage batteries, contributing to an estimated annual output value of over 22 billion yuan.
Meanwhile, EVE Energy's 10GWh battery project in Yuxi has entered the public approval stage, with construction including multiple workshops and production lines aimed at achieving significant battery output. Additionally, Ronbay Technology plans to invest approximately 4.3 billion yuan to enhance its production capacity for lithium iron phosphate precursors and cathode materials. These expansions could significantly impact the supply chain and response capabilities in the energy storage market.
