Cortical Labs is constructing AI data centers in Melbourne and Singapore utilizing its CL1 biological computers, powered by human neurons. This approach promises to significantly reduce energy consumption, operating at just 30W compared to traditional GPUs at 600W. Partnering with DayOne, Cortical Labs aims to deploy up to 1,000 units in phases. Daily maintenance includes topping up cerebrospinal fluid to sustain neuron function.
