Covestro, Fertiglobe, and TA'ZIZ Sign MoU for Low-Carbon Ammonia Collaboration

AMMONIA

Covestro, Fertiglobe, and TA'ZIZ signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration in the ammonia and nitric acid value chains. The partnership will focus on securing low-carbon ammonia for Covestro's facilities in China and the U.S., while evaluating longer-term supply options for Europe, China, and the U.S.

The agreement includes assessing infrastructure needs and aims to support Covestro's transition to lower-emission manufacturing of MDI and TDI. The MoU signifies strategic alignment within XRG's Global Chemicals platform following XRG's acquisition of Covestro in December 2025.
