Craemer Innovates with In-House Production of High-Quality Recyclate
Craemer Group enhances sustainability by producing high-quality recyclate, Zero Virgin, at its Oelde plant. This move supports the circular economy and reduces reliance on virgin plastics.

Craemer Group has initiated in-house production of Zero Virgin, a high-quality recyclate derived from 100% recovered polyethylene, to meet rising demand for sustainable plastic pallets and containers. Located in Oelde, Germany, the newly opened plant features advanced machinery capable of processing used plastics into raw materials for their production lines, ensuring a continuous supply of recyclate.
To optimize sustainability, the facility will operate on renewable energy, with a wind turbine expected to meet all electricity needs by year-end. Enhanced storage capacity for granulate has also been established to secure material availability.
The E3-5 Zero Virgin pallets, robust and fully recyclable, align with circular economy principles, provided users return them post-use. This initiative may mitigate risks associated with plastic waste and bolster Craemer's market position as eco-friendly manufacturing becomes more critical.
