Crédit Agricole Advances Energy Transition Financing with €6.5 Billion Arranged
Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies (CATE) has arranged €6.5 billion for energy transition projects, with a target of €15 billion by 2023. This initiative includes credit leasing and loans from regional branches and LCL, addressing key energy sector challenges.

Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies (CATE) has arranged €6.5 billion in financing for energy transition projects, including €1.4 billion in 2025, with a goal of reaching €15 billion by 2023. Financial support includes €800 million in equity, with Amundi contributing €350 million and Idia providing €250 million.
CATE is also implementing MonEnergieByCA, a new energy self-consumption solution aimed at 300,000 homes, enhancing self-consumption rates. Additionally, financing for energy storage solutions is underway, driven by decreasing equipment costs and the potential of sodium batteries. These developments may significantly impact the energy sector's transition to sustainability.
