Critical Metals Approves $30 Million Acceleration Program for Tanbreez Rare Earth Project in Greenland
Critical Metals Corp. has approved a $30 million program to accelerate the Tanbreez HREE Project in Greenland, targeting first ore production in Q4 2028 or Q1 2029. The funding will support drilling, infrastructure, and engineering tasks, with concentrate exports anticipated to start by Q3 2029. This initiative aims to enhance the project's potential as a major source of heavy rare earth elements for Western markets amid rising global demand.

Critical Metals Corp. has initiated a $30 million acceleration program for the Tanbreez HREE Project in Greenland, one of the world's largest rare earth deposits. The program aims to expedite drilling, infrastructure, and engineering work, targeting first ore production by Q4 2028 or Q1 2029 and concentrate export by Q3 2029.
The development includes a $12.5 million exploration initiative, 6,000 meters of drilling, and resource expansion from 45 million to approximately 130 million tonnes. The upcoming 2026 field program will focus on expanding resources and preparing for early production phases, with significant milestones achieved in exploration and strategic partnerships.
