Critical Mineral Resources Advances Drilling Program at Agadir Melloul, Morocco for JORC Resource Estimate
Critical Mineral Resources (CMR) is ramping up its drilling program at the Agadir Melloul site in Morocco, utilizing two diamond drill rigs to achieve a JORC-compliant resource estimate by early Q3 2026. Following weather-related delays, CMR aims to conduct approximately twenty drillings monthly, focusing on shallow to medium depths while also exploring deeper mineralization. The company anticipates that the favorable geological conditions will reduce operational costs and initial investment requirements.

Critical Mineral Resources (CMR) is intensifying its drilling program at the Agadir Melloul site in Morocco, supported by a significantly oversubscribed fundraising round. Two diamond drill rigs are now operating continuously, aiming for a first resource estimate compliant with the JORC code by early Q3 2026.
Following weather-related disruptions, CMR's operations have entered a fully operational phase, with plans to achieve approximately twenty drillings monthly, totaling around 1,000 meters. The immediate goal is to establish an internal resource model by late Q2 2026, preceding a formal JORC estimate.
Drilling will focus on shallow to medium depths of 20 to 50 meters, supplemented by deeper surveys for mineralized rhyolite identification. CMR highlights the advantageous geological characteristics of Agadir Melloul, where near-surface mineralization is expected to lower operational costs and initial investment needs.
