Critical Resources Initiates Solid-State Battery Evaluation Program with South Dakota School of Mines
STRATEGIC MINERALS
Critical Resources Ltd has started a six-month structured evaluation program for solid-state lithium-ion batteries in the United States, collaborating with the South Dakota School of Mines under the National Science Foundation-supported CEPS. The program focuses on two key projects: the development of an amorphous solid-state electrolyte and dry-deposited supersonic deposition for 3D-printed cathode material.
A solvent-free manufacturing process aims to streamline production. The company raised approximately $1.775 million at zero discount to fund this initiative, which provides access to advanced research infrastructure.
