Côte d'Ivoire Approves Multiple Decrees Including €104.2M Rice Value Chain Development

The Ivorian Council of Ministers approved nine decrees, including a €104.2 million agreement with the Islamic Development Bank aimed at developing the rice value chain to reduce imports. Additionally, a €200 million funding was sanctioned for sustainable urban mobility in Grand Abidjan, covering 164 km of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and 65 km of metro lines.

A loan of €3.34 million was ratified for modernizing five Anada laboratories, while two mining licenses for lithium were issued. The government also approved the sale of its 15% stake in Ips Wa. The next council meeting is set for March 8, 2026.
