CVCOG Hosts Public Meeting for Concho Valley Spaceport Feasibility Study

SPACE ECONOMY

The Concho Valley Council of Governments (CVCOG) is conducting a public meeting to initiate community input for the Concho Valley Spaceport Feasibility Study: Mission to Space. Funded by a Texas Space Commission grant, the study evaluates the potential of the Concho Valley as a site for a future spaceport.

RS&H leads the study team, which includes Centurion Planning & Design, Aerospace Corporation, Blue Ridge Research and Consulting, and SEARCH, Inc. The meeting aims to inform the public about the study's scope, modern inland spaceports' functions, and gather input on the region's suitability for testing and launch activities.

It will feature presentations, information stations, and discussions with the project team. The study's objective is to assess the feasibility of establishing a spaceport in the region without assuming its construction.
