Cy Capital Plans Data Centers and Corporate Offices Fund, Targets 30-40% Annual Growth
Cy Capital, launched in 2021, aims to become a multi-sector real estate investment firm with nearly R$ 4 billion under management. The company, focusing on logistics, residential development, and real estate credit, targets an annual growth rate of 30% to 40% in assets under management (AuM).
Founders Bruno Ackermann, Guga, and Danny emphasize the importance of diversifying their investment strategies, particularly in data centers and corporate offices. Cy Capital's initial challenge was capital acquisition, as the team had a strong execution background but limited experience in resource mobilization.
Key milestones include raising R$ 450 million for their first logistics fund and R$ 850 million for the second, anchored by the Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC. The firm plans to explore investments beyond São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and continues to look for new investment theses in a challenging economic environment.
