Da Nang Prepares to Launch International Financial Center with Global Partnerships and Infrastructure Investments
Da Nang is progressing towards the establishment of an international financial center, guided by the Politburo's directives, with plans to transition into a simulation phase by September 2025. The city has formed partnerships with notable entities like Binance and Tether, and aims to create regulatory sandboxes for innovative financial models. With a focus on enhancing IT infrastructure, Da Nang is set to officially open its governing body's office on January 9, 2026.

Da Nang is advancing toward the establishment of an international financial center, following the Politburo's guidelines. In 2025, the city formed a Preparatory Committee and a Working Group, transitioning to a simulation phase in September 2025 encompassing licensing and operational procedures.
Collaborations include Binance, Tether, and the Swiss Fintech Association. Da Nang plans to develop regulatory sandboxes for innovative financial models and promote asset tokenization. The city is set to officially open the governing body's office on January 9, 2026.
Investments in IT infrastructure focus on 5G, AI, and data centers, aligning with a broader strategy for a sustainable financial environment. The Executive Council of the Vietnam International Financial Centre has also been established to enhance operational governance.
