DABS Signs Agreements for 9,407 MW Power Generation in Afghanistan
NATURAL GASSOLAR ENERGY
Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) signed contracts to generate 9,407 megawatts of electricity from various sources including coal, natural gas, and thermal energy. Feasibility studies for projects include 323 megawatts from coal, and a 100 megawatt natural gas project is underway.
DABS also initiated a solar power plant in Kabul, costing nearly $40 million, with a capacity of 34 megawatts. Economic experts emphasize the importance of timely implementation for stable power supply and economic growth.
