DABS Signs Agreements for 9,407 MW Power Generation in Afghanistan
Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) has signed contracts to generate 9,407 megawatts of electricity from coal, natural gas, and thermal energy, including a 323-megawatt coal project and a 100-megawatt natural gas initiative. Additionally, a $40 million solar power plant with a capacity of 34 megawatts is being developed in Kabul. Economic experts highlight the necessity of timely project implementation for ensuring a stable power supply and fostering economic growth.
