Daimler Buses and FEV Develop First Hydrogen-Powered Setra Coach Demonstrator
Daimler Buses and FEV have jointly developed the H₂ Coach, the first hydrogen fuel cell-powered coach, intended for testing. The vehicle features a Cellcentric fuel cell unit with 300 kW output, two hydrogen tanks totaling 46 kg capacity, and a range of at least 800 km. It was handed over to Daimler Buses in summer 2025 after two years of development and TÜV approval.
