Damac Properties to Build 55,000 m² Data Center in Pregnana Milanese
Damac Properties plans to establish a 55,000 m² data center in Pregnana Milanese, operational by late 2028. This project, led by Edgnex Data Centers, reflects Hussain Sajwani's significant investment intentions in Italy, including a potential €40 billion commitment discussed with Italian officials.

Damac Properties is set to develop a data center spanning 55,000 square meters in Pregnana Milanese, expected to be operational by the end of 2028. This initiative is part of Hussain Sajwani's broader investment strategy, which includes a reported $20 billion investment in data centers primarily in the U.S.
Sajwani's companies have a history of high-profile investments, including luxury brands. The Pregnana facility will initially request 200 MegaWatts of power, significantly lower than the capacity pledged in the U.S.
The local administration is concerned about the lack of regulatory clarity affecting the approval process for such projects. The establishment of this data center could influence local energy consumption patterns and regional economic development.
