Danfoss has fully acquired Semikron Danfoss, enhancing its LEAP 2030 strategy focused on electrification investments. Previously, Danfoss owned 62% of Semikron Danfoss, established in 2022 from the merger of Semikron and Danfoss Silicon Power.

The acquisition will clarify Semikron Danfoss's strategic focus and strengthen Danfoss's ability to deliver industrial-scale power electronics solutions. It will prioritize areas such as industrial drive systems, renewable energy, data centers, energy storage, and commercial vehicles. Danfoss will also divest the electric vehicle power module segment, as it falls outside core priorities, aiming to concentrate resources on industrial applications and energy solutions.
