Dasu Hydropower Project Distributes Hygiene Kits to Schools in Pakistan
The Dasu Hydropower Project (DHPP) has initiated a campaign to distribute health and hygiene kits in schools within its project area. The program aims to promote personal hygiene among students, starting with a ceremony on March 12 at Government Centennial Model High School for Boys in Dasu. Kits containing essential hygiene items will be provided to students in selected schools. DHPP, a major hydropower initiative in Pakistan, is being constructed by China Gezhouba Group Company with support from the World Bank.

Kits will be distributed to selected schools, encouraging students to adopt proper hygiene habits. DHPP, constructed by China Gezhouba Group Company with World Bank support, is a significant hydropower project on the Indus River, expected to generate 4,320 megawatts of electricity.
