Data Center Project Approved for Clark County with $11 Million Site Acquisition
A data center project is set for Clark County, Arkansas, following approval to sell the Southwest Arkansas Mega Site for $11.4 million. The investment aims to create 150 jobs and establish a facility by 2032.

The Economic Development Corp. of Clark County approved the sale of the 991-acre Southwest Arkansas Mega Site for approximately $11.4 million to an unnamed buyer, currently referred to as 'Project Pulse.' The buyer plans to invest at least $1 billion in developing a data center campus, which is projected to create 150 primary jobs.
Utilities such as water, power, and gas are already in place, ensuring the site's readiness for development. The data center is expected to operate without negative impacts on the local power grid or residents' utility costs.
If successful, the facility could begin operations by 2032. This project is anticipated to have a smaller environmental footprint compared to previous proposals for the site.
