DataOne to Host Town Hall Before Vineland City Council Vote on Tax Break
DataOne will host a town hall at the Landis Theater in Vineland on January 21 to discuss community concerns regarding its data center, ahead of a city council vote on January 27 concerning a five-year property tax break. The proposed ordinance would allow DataOne to enter a 'PILOT' agreement, exempting it from full property taxes on new construction while maintaining regular taxes on the land, with payments starting at zero and increasing annually. The site was acquired by Nebius Group N.V. in March 2025 as part of its U.S. expansion.

An ordinance introduced on Jan. 13 would allow DataOne to enter a 'PILOT' agreement, exempting it from full property taxes for new construction while maintaining regular taxes on its land. Payments would start at zero for the first year and increase by 20% annually until full payment is reached. The site was purchased by Nebius Group N.V. in March 2025 as part of its U.S. expansion.
