DataOne will hold a town hall at the Landis Theater in Vineland on Jan. 21 to address community concerns regarding its data center. This event precedes a Jan. 27 city council vote on a five-year property tax break for the facility.

An ordinance introduced on Jan. 13 would allow DataOne to enter a 'PILOT' agreement, exempting it from full property taxes for new construction while maintaining regular taxes on its land. Payments would start at zero for the first year and increase by 20% annually until full payment is reached. The site was purchased by Nebius Group N.V. in March 2025 as part of its U.S. expansion.
