DayOne Data Centers Establishes Operations Base in Johor and Expands Kuala Lumpur Shared Services Center
DayOne Data Centers has launched a regional operations and training center in Johor, Malaysia, and is expanding its Global Shared Services Center in Kuala Lumpur. The Johor facility aims to train over 1,000 data center engineers, enhancing operational capabilities across Asia-Pacific. With an investment exceeding RM14 billion since 2022 and an additional RM67 billion planned, DayOne's presence is expected to increase local employment to around 1,500 by 2026 and create approximately 4,000 additional jobs through local procurement.

DayOne Data Centers has established a regional operations and training center in Johor, Malaysia, enhancing its Asia-Pacific presence. The center will train over 1,000 engineers in data center operations, focusing on real-world operational skills.
Concurrently, the Global Shared Services Center in Kuala Lumpur is expanding, aiming to employ over 200 local professionals. DayOne has invested more than RM14 billion in Malaysia since 2022, with plans for an additional RM67 billion, expected to increase local employment to approximately 1,500 by 2026 and create around 4,000 additional jobs through local procurement.
