DayOne Secures $4.5 Billion in Series C Funding Ahead of IPO Plans
DayOne has raised $4.5 billion in Series C funding, led by Coatue and Hillhouse, to support its expansion and potential IPO. The investment facilitates growth in key markets, increasing the company's data center capacity significantly across Asia and Europe.

DayOne announced the closing of its Series C equity financing, securing $4.5 billion, aimed at accelerating expansion in critical markets. The round featured participation from Coatue and Hillhouse, along with new investors like the Indonesia Investment Authority and Achi Capital Partners.
Currently, DayOne operates over 500MW of data center capacity in service and under construction, with plans for future development in various countries. The firm has recently initiated projects in Thailand and Singapore and is exploring opportunities in Spain, having appointed Juan Carlos Vaamonde to lead its efforts there. The company is also considering further financing options based on market conditions.
