Decade Energy Advances Electric Truck Electrification in Poland and Europe
Decade Energy is progressing electric truck infrastructure in Poland, focusing on grid connections and battery storage systems. The company has secured 22 million euros to expand its projects, responding to rising demand for electric fleets across Europe.

Decade Energy has initiated the construction of 50 depots in Europe, starting with a pilot project and aims to establish efficient electric truck infrastructure. The firm secured 22 million euros, allocating 16 million euros for project investments and 6 million euros for company growth, including expansion into Poland and Germany, which are key markets due to their truck demand and energy transition.
Challenges include limited grid capacity and a complex regulatory environment, particularly in Poland, where multiple distribution system operators complicate infrastructure development. The company’s strategy includes integrating battery storage with grid improvements to optimize costs and enhance energy resilience.
