Deloitte and the Municipality of Bari are collaborating to renovate the 'Michele Fazio' sports fields on Lungomare Imperatore Augusto. The project, valued at over €100,000, includes replacing the worn grass, installing new surfaces, fencing, and improving public lighting, aimed at providing functional spaces for recreational sports.

This initiative is part of Deloitte's broader investments in Puglia, promoting social inclusion and economic development. The fields honor Michele Fazio, a victim of a gang shooting in 2001. Deloitte has previously invested over €75 million in the region, including the establishment of the GenAI Center for Business Innovation and NextOrbit, an innovation hub focused on the new space economy. The project has been submitted for evaluation and aims to enhance community engagement and social cohesion.
