Delta Air Lines Announces Retirement of CIO Rahul Samant, Amala Duggirala to Succeed as Chief Digital Officer
Delta Air Lines has announced the retirement of Rahul Samant, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective March 1, after a decade of leading technology transformation. Amala Duggirala will succeed him as Chief Digital & Technology Officer, starting January 12, overseeing the combined technology and digital functions.

Delta Air Lines announced the retirement of Rahul Samant, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective March 1, after 10 years leading technology transformation. Samant's achievements include migrating systems to the cloud, developing a new Data Center, and launching AI initiatives such as Delta Concierge.
Following his departure, Amala Duggirala will join Delta as the new Chief Digital & Technology Officer, overseeing a combined technology and digital function, starting January 12. Duggirala will relocate to Atlanta.
