Deutsche Bank has issued an AUD 110 million financing package to European Energy for the Mokoan Hybrid Solar Farm and Battery Project in Victoria, Australia. This three-year non-recourse financing will refinance existing debt and support the Mokoan Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction.
Deutsche Bank serves multiple roles, including Sole Lender and Hedging Bank, providing various financial facilities. The Mokoan Solar Farm, operational since June 2025 with a capacity of 58MW, generates about 113GWh of electricity annually. The 40MW/80MWh BESS is anticipated to improve grid stability and renewable energy integration.
