Develop Global has achieved steady-state production at its Woodlawn copper mine, exceeding a nameplate capacity of 850,000 t/y. In March, the mine produced 80,510 t of ore and processed 77,741 t, contributing to a total ore mined of 181,973 t for the quarter, a 46.4% increase from the previous quarter.
Processing throughput rose by 25.2% to 176,550 t, with metal concentrate production increasing by 50% to 14,219 t. The company's strategy has focused on reducing risk through exploration and staged development, prioritizing lower-grade ore to optimize recoveries. The operation benefits from low diesel costs, accounting for only 1.3% of operating expenses, and uses 100% electricity from the east coast grid, shielding it from fuel supply issues.
