Developer Proposes 847,000-Square-Foot Data Center Complex Near Newark, Delaware

A developer plans to demolish seven buildings in the White Clay Center business park near Newark to construct an 847,000-square-foot data center complex. This project is proposed for a 44-acre site on White Clay Center Drive, accessible from Ogletown Road (Del. 273), across from CarMax. The site is located in an industrial area, but it is adjacent to residential neighborhoods, including Kimberton, Greenbridge, Newark Oaks, and various apartment complexes.
