DHBW Mannheim Launches GreenLab H2 and PECVD_BipoCoat Hydrogen Research Projects

ELECTROLYZERHYDROGEN

DHBW Mannheim has launched two research projects, GreenLab H2 and PECVD_BipoCoat, to advance electrochemistry and hydrogen technologies. GreenLab H2 emphasizes sustainable hydrogen use on campus, developing demonstrators for production, storage, and utilization.

This initiative aims to enhance research capacity and offer training for students and industry partners. PECVD_BipoCoat focuses on reducing industrial costs for hydrogen production components by investigating plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition technologies.

The project seeks to improve component performance and lower operational costs, facilitating broader deployment of electrolyzers and hydrogen systems. Together, the projects aim to support the hydrogen and energy transition through applied research and industry collaboration.
