DHL Supply Chain to Build CO₂-Neutral Logistics Center in Rheinbach by August 2026
DHL Supply Chain is expanding its operations in the Rhineland by constructing a new CO₂-neutral logistics center in Rheinbach. Spanning 26,600 square meters, the facility will meet the rising demand for advanced logistics solutions and is set to begin operations in August 2026. The building will adhere to DGNB Gold Standard, featuring modern energy systems and modular design to accommodate various warehouse processes.

DHL Supply Chain is building a CO₂-neutral logistics center in the Wolbersacker industrial area of Rheinbach, with operations starting in August 2026. The facility will cover 26,600 square meters and aims to address the growing need for high-performance logistics.
It will meet DGNB Gold Standard and include a 1.0 MWp photovoltaic system and a 229 kW battery storage system. The location is strategically chosen for its proximity to the A61 motorway and Cologne/Bonn and Düsseldorf airports, enhancing transport efficiency. The project is expected to strengthen the regional economy and create jobs.
