Divergent Technologies Expands with New 3D Printing Facility in Long Beach
Divergent Technologies has launched a new facility in Long Beach, featuring 64 advanced 3D printers to increase production. This expansion positions the company to significantly enhance the manufacturing capabilities for aerospace and defense sectors, potentially creating 1,000 jobs.

Divergent Technologies has inaugurated a 430,000 square foot facility in Long Beach, equipped with 64 Monolith One 3D printers, aiming to augment its production capacity by eightfold within two years. The Monolith One is engineered specifically for scaled production, capable of generating over 30,000 missile airframes and 275,000 component parts annually.
This strategic move aligns with increased defense industry demand for rapid manufacturing and is expected to create 1,000 direct jobs. The company has raised $230 million in Series E funding, valuing it at $2.3 billion.
The facility aims to expedite the production cycle, reducing timelines to weeks or days, enhancing efficiency in defense manufacturing. Divergent's expansion also addresses the U.S. government's focus on bolstering domestic manufacturing capabilities in aerospace.
