DK Fer Launches Third Metal Recycling Site in Dunkirk
DK Fer, part of the Vandamme group, has opened a new recycling facility in Dunkirk, enhancing regional metal recovery. This expansion follows significant investments and aligns with the group's commitment to local service and environmental standards.

DK Fer has commenced operations in Dunkirk, focusing on metal purchasing and sorting, backed by substantial investments for compliance with environmental standards. The facility spans 8,000 m² and is strategically located near key transport routes, enabling efficient service for both individuals and businesses.
This expansion follows the establishment of a second site in Calais for recycling submarine cables in 2023 and a revamped historical site in Calais in 2022. While Dunkirk lacks production capabilities initially, future plans include the introduction of such facilities. The site will accept various metals but not lithium batteries, asbestos, green waste, or construction debris, highlighting its specialized focus.
