D.M. Consunji Inc. (DMCI) is forming a consortium with two other local construction firms to bid for the new Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Complex in Clark City, which will relocate money printing operations from East Avenue.
Due to national security regulations, only local firms are eligible to bid. The bid invitation is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2025. The new complex will include a security plant and other key operations, with a focus on robust security features for currency production facilities, data center, and IT systems.
The budget for design consultancy services for the Restricted Zone is P75.7 million, funded by BSP's resources. In 2022, BSP contracted Aidea Inc. for architectural and engineering design services covering 21.32 hectares of the site, which will include various facilities. DMCI's order book was around P35 billion to P40 billion last year.
