DNV Advises on Acquisition of Onshore Wind Portfolio in France
DNV served as technical advisor for Axium Infrastructure's 49.9% stake in a 22 onshore wind farm portfolio in France, totaling 174.2 MW. This partnership aligns with France’s energy transition efforts, emphasizing the importance of both onshore and offshore wind development.

Axium Infrastructure acquired a 49.9% interest in a portfolio of 22 operational onshore wind farms in France, with a combined capacity of 174.2 MW. DNV acted as the technical advisor for this transaction, which also includes Engie Green as a co-owner, while ENGIE retains the remaining 50.1%.
The wind farms, located in Hauts-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and Grand Est, benefit from stable revenues through State-backed feed-in tariffs and contracts for difference. Recent policies signal a shift toward large-scale offshore wind deployment, complementing ongoing onshore optimization efforts. This transition may enhance industry competitiveness and sustainability in the French energy market.
