DNV Certifies Milestone for Nordseecluster A Offshore Wind Project
DNV has certified the third milestone for the Nordseecluster A offshore wind project, allowing RWE to commence turbine installation. This project, developed in collaboration with Norges Bank Investment Management, aims to significantly contribute to Germany's renewable energy targets of 30 GW by 2030 and up to 70 GW by 2045.

The third milestone of the Nordseecluster A offshore wind project has been certified by DNV, confirming compliance with the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) standards. This certification allows RWE to move forward with the installation of wind turbines at the project site.
The Nordseecluster comprises two phases with a total planned capacity of 1.6 GW, contributing to Germany's goal of 30 GW of offshore wind by 2030. The transition to construction marks a significant step toward meeting climate objectives, reflecting a broader commitment to renewable energy advancement in the region. The independent verification by DNV is crucial for managing risks associated with large-scale offshore developments.
