Dr. Stefanie Kesting Appointed CEO of Thyssengas Effective January 1, 2026
Dr. Stefanie Kesting has been appointed CEO of Thyssengas GmbH, effective January 1, 2026, succeeding Dr. Thomas Gößmann, who will retire in February. Kesting, an energy manager, plans to focus on transitioning the company's transmission network to include hydrogen and other green gases, emphasizing the importance of a resilient gas infrastructure for decarbonization efforts. Following Gößmann's departure, the management board will temporarily consist of Kesting and Dr. Thomas Becker as CFO starting March 1, 2026.

This leadership change comes as Thyssengas prepares to transition its transmission network to include hydrogen and other green gases alongside natural gas.
