Dreamfly Innovations Secures ₹3 Crore Debt from SIDBI to Enhance Drone Battery Production
Bengaluru-based Dreamfly Innovations has raised ₹3 crore in non-dilutive venture debt from the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to enhance operations and scale production of smart battery systems for drones and aerospace. The funds will support working capital and expand manufacturing capacity, allowing the company to streamline inventory, procurement cycles, and meet long-term supply commitments with OEM partners.
Founded by Saurabh Markandeya and Kajal Shah, Dreamfly designs high-performance batteries for various applications, backed by Avaana Capital. The company has developed innovations such as thermal-case architecture for heat management and intelligent battery management systems.
Operating on a B2B model, Dreamfly supplies customized battery solutions to drone manufacturers, defense contractors, and enterprises. The funding coincides with rising demand for advanced energy storage in commercial and defense drones and aerospace platforms.
