Dubai has completed its first air taxi station, a pivotal step in advancing urban mobility. The facility, operated by Joby Aviation, is set to enhance connectivity and reduce travel times across the city.

Dubai's inaugural air taxi station, situated near Dubai International Airport (DXB), is completed, marking a significant milestone for urban mobility. Developed by Skyports Infrastructure and Joby Aviation, the station is designed to accommodate up to 170,000 passengers annually, featuring two take-off and landing pads and dedicated charging infrastructure.
The air taxi service aims to decrease travel times, with a projected journey from DXB to Palm Jumeirah in approximately 10 minutes. Commercial operations are expected to commence by year-end. Joby Aviation, holding a six-year exclusive operating agreement, is committed to hiring locally for its workforce, promoting regional integration. This advancement in air mobility is aligned with Dubai's vision for a sustainable transport ecosystem and enhances the city's status as a global innovation hub.
