Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm Funds STEM Equipment at Duke of Lancaster Academy in Fakenham

WIND ENERGY

The Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm Community Fund, operated by Equinor, has funded two sensory STEM equipment pieces for the Duke of Lancaster Academy in Fakenham. The new installations aim to support student wellbeing and teamwork, with equipment like the Rotogen Hex Reactions Station Play Panel, which converts kinetic energy into electrical energy.

Students can engage interactively, receiving immediate feedback and tracking progress. Grant applications for funding are open year-round for schools in Norfolk's Great Yarmouth, North Norfolk, and Breckland regions, with awards made in spring and autumn.
