Duos Edge AI and LG CNS Launch Modular Data Centers with Over 2,000 GPUs
The deployment of modular AI data centers by Duos Edge AI and LG CNS addresses the urgent demand for scalable, rapid AI hardware solutions. These units promise significant reductions in deployment time and costs, enhancing operational efficiency for businesses in the AI sector.

Duos Edge AI and LG CNS have initiated the deployment of modular data centers, capable of housing over 2,000 GPUs. Duos' compute pods, measuring 55 feet by 12.5 feet, will host 576 GPUs each, totaling 2,304 units with future scalability to 4,608 GPUs.
Similarly, LG's AI Modular Data Center, set to launch in Busan, South Korea, will also feature 576 GPUs with plans for a version supporting over 4,600 GPUs. Both companies estimate deployment times of approximately six months, significantly faster than traditional data centers, which take two to three years.
Modular solutions may enhance cost-effectiveness, with Duos projecting costs around $25 million for a five-megawatt deployment. This approach offers flexibility and scalability for AI infrastructure, indicating a shift in data center construction strategies.
