DWS Group has acquired the Maaselänkangas onshore wind farm in Oulainen, Finland, from wpd Group for an undisclosed amount. This 41.3 MW facility, operational since September 2024, comprises seven Nordex turbines and is projected to generate around 128.6 GWh annually.

The investment supports DWS's European infrastructure strategy aimed at enhancing energy security and providing stable returns for retail and institutional investors. This acquisition is the seventh under DWS's strategy, which includes previous investments in solar parks in Germany and Spain and onshore wind farms in Germany and Sweden, further expanding its renewable asset portfolio across Europe.
