DWS Launches DWS Invest Essential Materials Producers Fund
DWS has introduced the DWS Invest Essential Materials Producers, an actively managed equity fund focusing on essential materials production companies. The fund targets long-term structural trends such as energy transition and artificial intelligence, aiming to provide investors with daily liquidity.

DWS Invest Essential Materials Producers aims to invest at least 70% of its assets in publicly traded companies listed in the S&P TSX Energy Transition Materials Index and S&P Global Essential Metals Producers Index. The fund is designed for medium to long-term investors, accepting higher volatility for exposure to critical materials sectors like energy transition and data centers.
The growing demand for strategic raw materials, combined with geographical concentration in production, raises supply chain security concerns. This fund may benefit from increased investments in energy transition, AI, and defense spending, while also presenting inherent stock investment risks.
