Dynamic Metals Begins Diamond Drilling at Cognac West Gold Prospect in Western Australia
Dynamic Metals has commenced a diamond drilling program at the Cognac West prospect in Western Australia, funded partially by the Exploration Incentive Scheme. The four-hole program aims to explore gold-copper mineralisation beneath previous drilling, enhancing geological understanding of the area. Historical assays from the 1990s included high grades, and recent soil sampling indicated promising higher-grade zones.

Dynamic Metals (ASX:DYM) has initiated diamond drilling at the Cognac West prospect as part of its Widgiemooltha project in Western Australia. The four-hole program aims to investigate gold-copper mineralisation found beneath earlier reverse circulation drilling.
The project is receiving up to $175,000 in co-funding from the Western Australian government. Drilling will enhance the understanding of geological structures and mineralisation characteristics. Historical exploration has shown significant gold anomalism, with past drill results including one metre at 91.3 grams per tonne. Recent soil sampling and geological mapping have also indicated areas of high-grade mineralisation.
