E-Power Secures $252 Million Microgrid Project in California with ZL Bio
E-Power has finalized a Microgrid Construction & Services Agreement worth $252 million with ZL Bio for a project in California. This initiative aims to significantly enhance ZL Bio's greenhouse energy capacity from 3 MW to 50 MW, aligning with its operational growth plans.

E-Power has entered into a three-phase agreement with ZL Bio, focusing on a microgrid project in Middletown, California. The project will escalate ZL Bio's energy capacity to support a 6,000-unit greenhouse facility.
Phase 1 entails the deployment of 3 MW for 330 units, costing approximately $15.12 million. Phase 2 increases capacity to 9 MW for 997 units at $30.24 million. The final phase will add 41 MW, culminating in a total of 50 MW for all units, with total expenditures around $252 million.
The agreement includes turnkey installation of solar modules and battery systems, with a focus on high system availability and advanced energy management. E-Power will also deliver long-term maintenance and monitoring services.
