The East Allen Township Board of Supervisors held its annual meeting on January 5, reappointing Roger Unangst as chairman and Mark Schwartz as vice chairman. The board filled vacancies, including Dave Schleder on the Zoning Hearing Board and Robert Mills on the Planning Commission.

They discussed amending the zoning ordinance to include data centers as a conditional use in the General Industrial Zoning District, aiming to create specific criteria for future developments. There are currently no active data center plans in the township. The next board meeting is scheduled for January 22.
