Eastman Impex Aims for Rs 1,200 Crore Revenue by 2029 with Focus on Women Workforce and Automation
Eastman Impex targets Rs 1,200 crore in revenue by 2029, backed by Rs 40 crore annual investments in automation and technology, and plans to double its women workforce. The company emphasizes employee retention and local talent development, crucial for sustaining growth amid challenges in both domestic and export markets.

Eastman Impex, currently at Rs 700 crore in revenue, aims to reach Rs 1,200 crore by 2029, supported by Rs 40 crore annual investments in automation over the next three years. The firm intends to enhance its female workforce, currently at 230 out of 2,200 employees, aiming for a 50:50 male-female hiring ratio.
Employee retention is prioritized, with less than 1% attrition among white-collar staff, attributed to a positive workplace culture and internal promotions. The company is also expanding its manufacturing capabilities into aluminium fabrication and automation technologies, addressing talent shortages, particularly in welding. These initiatives are vital as Eastman Impex balances domestic growth against declining export demand due to geopolitical factors.
