Eaton Secures Czech Subsidies to Expand Mobility Capabilities in EMEA
Eaton has received two subsidies from the Czech Republic to fund innovative mobility projects in EMEA. One project involves developing an off-road electric truck in collaboration with Tatra Trucks, focusing on integrating Eaton's power distribution unit and a four-speed transmission for electric vehicles. The second subsidy supports a three-year program to develop a new power distribution unit and DC/DC converter for hydrogen fuel cell trucks, along with an internal fuel cell test bench at Eaton's European Innovation Center in Prague.

Eaton has received two subsidies from the Czech Republic to enhance its mobility projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The first subsidy supports a collaboration with Tatra Trucks to develop an off-road electric truck, integrating Eaton's power distribution unit and a four-speed transmission for medium and heavy electric vehicles.
The second subsidy is for a three-year program to create a new power distribution unit and a 200 kW DC/DC converter for hydrogen fuel cell trucks, alongside setting up a fuel cell test bench at Eaton's European Innovation Center in Prague. These initiatives aim to advance Eaton's electric vehicle capabilities in the region.
